the holidays were wonderful. it is so different here in florida as opposed to up north. here you go to disney to see lights, which is completely different than going to NY for the tree. the 70 some degree weather is nice though, that is for sure.

i am a terrible slacker arent i? i have been meaning ot make a new post and it just has not happened in entierly too too long. (that nudge i was sent helped too ;)

on the store front i have added some new earrings for the winter season. nothing to make that up do and new dress shine like some sparkling earrings. I also have some great necklaces for all those parties and special occasion dinners coming up.

i haven t posted in awhile, i know. i have been having some dental work done and it is so far from fun i don't even know where to begin. plus huge dental work means huge bills = me not happy.

ok so maybe fall isnt what most people are used to here in Florida, but i am happy for the 80 degree weather. heck, anything not in the 90s makes me giddy. i may not have the brown leaves but i sure have the autumn colored wardrobe! its nice to be able to break out a sweater in the evenings. i am a bit of a cardigan addict.

this necklace would look great on an evening out with a cozy sweater. the crystals that make up the chain add a great sparkle without being too over the top.




i have a thing for copper colors at the moment. i was looking at some copper beads last night thinking of all the things i can make with them. hopefully soon i will be making a big ol order.

on a totally unrelated note - is tonight a holy cow good tv night or what !? Chuck, Heroes, and then Journeyman. you'll know where i will be ! now to get all my work done before i waste my night vegging in front of the tv lol

it is finally not always in the upper 90's here. it is starting to be as much Fall as florida gets to be. coolness in the air makes me think of the browns and autumn colors that i used to have all around me when i lived in NJ.

i bought some beautiful autumn jasper flat oval beads and made a necklace and bracelet set out of them. they are up on etsy now.

i am putting up a few pieces madeof crackle glass. they are all bright, vibrant, and full of sparkle!

I also got in a pretty large order of some wonderful focal pendants. a heck of a lot of candy jade, which is one of my faveorites.

my hand finally felt good enough to start putting together all of the bracelets that i had started on. there are a few of them up in my shop already. more to come!

I was watching a movie three nights ago, sitting in my favorite chair,and twisting some silver wire to make bracelets with.  I figured iwould watch and use the pliers all at once and before you know it iwould be done.  Movie one came on and finished, then we decided n movietwo, and i was still twisting away.  By the end of the movie i decidedmy hand hurt and discovered that it was swollen.  Yea, who doesn'tnotice things like this as it is happening?  seriously.  Its three dayslater and i have an entire bowl of half bracelets, and one stillwhining at me hand.

moral of the story - 4 hours is an obsceneamount of time to spend with a pair of pliers in your hand when youhave carpal tunnel.

In other exciting news i got a new emailfrom one of my suppliers that made me squee.  needless to say an orderwas placed within a few mins. and i should have some new amazinggoodies soon.

i made some new bracelets yesterda. i kind of got in the zone and just started working till my carpal tunnel said thats enough. today my hand is still puffy, but i am in love with some of the designs i made so it is worth it.

today i went shopping and i found all sorts of lovely glass beads that would make stunning, fun bracelets. i cant wait to get some made and up for everyone to see. i think this weekend will be a perfet time to put together some new pieces. i have some fun bumpy lampwork beads, and a bunch of sugar coated lampwork beads.

there is a bunch of new goodies up for sale, here is one of the new necklaces. there are a ton of earrings that have all been hand painted and had rhinestones reset. they are fab.

it was another incredibly hot day today, so i was able to stay inside and work on some new pieces. i was able to finish painting and reconstructing a few of the pairs of earrings i have been working on. they are just lovely. hand set rhinestones and lots of flowers, be sure to check them out.

then i used a piece of galaxy stone i had to make a necklace. it is a black stone with some light pink "planets" on it. There is a portion of the stone that almost looked like a split open meteor. again this was a bit of s show stealer so its on a plain sterling chain.
yes yes, i seem to be all about that style recently, but i have these large beautiful stones that just scream to have all the attention.

this one is huge. its 50 mm and begging to be worn with white linen. i picked this one out because of the black matrix on the side. i think it looks like a map that just ends.

in other non exciting news it is currantly 96 degrees out and it feel way hotter than that.

today was pretty nice out, it was hot but not too too humid. which means its time to go play outside. almost no work gone done, but i had a happy doggie in the end, and that is what really matters.

you know when you see a sale and you buy a few things, go home, and think "maybe i hsould have bought extra for later?"? well, i have no self conrol. i bought a rather large order of stones, and the day they showed up i fell in love and i had to order more. ok, i admit it, some of them were for me too. a girl cant just sell all of these beautiful pieces and not keep some for herself right? So another order the size of the first was placed, and when it came there was a sort of rince, lather and repete issue going on. ha! this time i was told no no no. apparently having boxes of gemstones around the house make smome people cranky.

here is one of the new stones, an amazing huge 50mm Labradorite




this was so hard to photograph so you can see all the colors within the stone.


i just cant wait for it to get cooler out. i have a ton (more like 20) plain v neck sweaters that i practically live in. these new necklaces are going to look awesome with them! one day the story of the black v neck sweater should be shared. everyone laughs about it when i tell them.
